Affinity Mapping

After conducting interviews with five candidates selected through a screening process, an Affinity Map was generated to pinpoint commonalities in their ideas, needs, feelings, and experiences. Through careful analysis, distinct categories emerged, including Safety, Phone Use (acknowledging the potential conflict with the tradition of keeping phones off during a show), Reasons for Attending Shows Pre-Covid, Virtual Options (opinions), and Attending with Others. These categorized insights played a pivotal role in refining the app's scope and overall project focus.

Furthermore, by providing interview subjects the opportunity to candidly express their views on whether live shows needed support during the Covid-19 pandemic, new parameters and barriers surfaced, contributing valuable perspectives to the project's considerations.
